Friends TTS13

March 31, 2014

It has been a beautiful day in Georgia!!  I spent most of the day in my craft room.  I don't do well in pollen, so I stayed in.  I love Spring and all the blooming trees, but the pollen and sinus problems don't go together!

My dear friend Angel, told me about a new challenge called 'Tis The Season Christmas Card Challenge.  I wanted to join in on the fun and I thought how great it will be to use more of my Christmas items and also, when December rolls around, I will already have a few cards made.  Here is my first entry in the challenge.  ENJOY!

Congratulations CMCC No13

March 30, 2014

We are off to Miss Addison's birthday party in a little while, so I need to get this posted quickly.  I absolutely loved all the colors in the Colour Me Challenge this week.  Rich Razzleberry, Island Indigo, Cajun Craze and Crushed Curry and such beautiful colors.  I don't think I have used Cajun Craze since last Fall.  It was great to pull it out again.  My dear friend just moved to a new home and I wanted to make her a card.  She loves these rich colors, so this challenge gave me the perfect opportunity to create a card for her.

Stampin' Up! Products:

Paper:  Rich Razzleberry, Island Indigo, Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper, Very Vanilla

You Make Me Happy--CCMC296 and PPA197

March 28, 2014

WOW!  What a great day it has been.  Miss Addison helped me make her first card for the Create With Connie and Mary Challenge and the Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge.  I can not begin to say how much I love Summer Starfruit and Pacific Point.  I love Pacific Point so much and it is a color that is rarely used in cards you see on blogs or Pinterest.  I really should use it more often.
It is paired with Smokey Slate for the neutral and I love the way my card turned out.  I think it is extra special because I had help with the embossing.  Addison loved turning the handle on the Big Shot and seeing the results for the embossing folders and framelits.  I see card making in her future!  ENJOY!

It is a beautiful sunny morning, but oh so chilly.  I am so ready for warmer days!

I LOVE the colors in the Dynamic Duos Color Challenge this week.  Rich Razzleberry is a favorite of mine.  I do not have Pale Plum in my paper stash, so I substituted Wisteria Wonder.  I know the Pale Plum has more pink in it, so I hope that will be excepted.  I absolutely adore this Sir Rabbit stamp by Stampendous.  I really need to get started on my Easter cards, so I hope you enjoy my card!

Dreams Come True FabFri37

March 24, 2014

I have been busy getting ready for a luncheon tomorrow, so I have not had much time to get into my craft room.  Also, pollen season has arrived and I have a sinus headache that makes it hard to be creative.  ------

My ADORABLE, Miss Addison will be turning 5 this week.  She has brought so much joy to my life and I wanted to make her a very special card.  She LOVES PINK and PRINCESSES!!!!!!!  She is so girly and also loves bling-bling.  She is related to me!

The Fab Friday Sketch Challenge was perfect for my card.  I hope you enjoy it!  I think she will be thrilled when she finds this in her mailbox.

I am sorry the pictures aren't very bright today.  I could not find anywhere outside without  shadows to take my pictures.  It is much brighter and the rhinestones more shiny if you see it in person!  :)

Sweet Baby NAC 81

March 21, 2014

It is a beautiful day in Georgia.  It is 70 degrees and sunny!  I perfect day!
Lunch with special friends and girl talk makes for an even better day!

Now, to share my card I created for the Nacho Average Challenge this week.  I wanted to use the Baby We've Grown Stamp Set and couldn't decide on pink or blue.  I have two friends having their first GRAND and they don't know what the baby is going to be, so I took a chance that one would be a girl.  Think Pink, I guess!
