HAPPY NEW YEAR Review of 2013

December 31, 2013

Happy New Year!

As we say good-bye to 2013, I wanted to take a minute to reflect on my blog.  I became a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator in March.  I have enjoyed it more than I can say!!!!   I missed teaching and being creative and it has given me a wonderful outlet.  Not only have I been able to be be creative, I have made so many new friends and contacts!  I am very thankful for this new opportunity.  I love following other card makers blogs and I do learn something new every day!  I hope to continue growing and sharing in 2014.

A review of a few of my favorite cards I created  this year!

I am so thrilled about the challenges I have won in 2013 and hope to continue participating in many more in the New Year!  My ultimate dream is to be selected for a design team.  I will keep striving toward my goal.  I hope to attend the Stampin' Up! Convention again this summer and meet many more new friends and learn more new skills!  Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting me in my adventure in card making!

May God Bless YOU in the New Year with

You Make the World a Better Place! PPA 185

December 31, 2013

HAPPY NEW YEAR'S EVE!  WOW!  Another year has passed!  I can' believe how fast the days are flying by!  I wish I could slow the clock down!  I am going to make it a goal to find time each day for me!  I have never been very good at taking time for myself,  and I know I need to do this.  I have to make time to exercise and slow down a little!  I realize everyone makes this a priority for a few weeks, but I really hope to stick to it.  I hope whatever goals you make for yourself will make you happy and fulfilled!

I always LOVE the challenges at Pals Paper Arts.  Nicole Watt's sketch  is perfect for any type of card.  It is a sketch that I will use many times!

December 29, 2013

I love using all my new products from the Celebrate the Everyday that goes live on Jan. 3rd.  Being a child of the 70's, I absolutely am in LOVE with the Retro Fresh Designer Series Paper.  It is fabulous!  I will be using it all season with a big smile:)))   The Create With Connie and Mary Challenge presented the perfect layout for my card.  It can be used as a Valentine card of birthday card.  ENJOY!

Christmas Eve and I am watching It's A Wonderful Life and making a card for my wonderful husband.  We have an on going conversation about "Love you, More!" so, when I saw this stamp, I had to make a Valentine card with it for him.  I loved the colors in the Create With Connie and Mary challenge this week, and I am just getting my card submitted in the last few hours before the deadline.  Hope you enjoy my card!

Happy New Year PPA 184 and SUO # 86

December, 23, 2013

I have been super busy the last few days.  We celebrated Christmas over the weekend with part of our family!  It was so much fun to watch Natalie open her gifts and help Luke open his.  The wonder of Christmas is always more fun with little ones around!  My Mom arrived last evening to stay with me for about 10 days.  It is always so special to have time with her.  At 85, she amazes me every day!

I wanted to enter the Pals Paper Arts Challenge and the Stampin' Up Only Challenge this week.  With such a limited amount of time in my craft room,  I am making this card for both challenges.    I received a Christmas card yesterday (they moved and I was waiting for their new address) and  needed a New Year's card to send back.  I hope you enjoy my take on the challenges!

Congratulations! WOW PP # 176

December 18, 2013

Time is passing away too quickly and I am still working on too many projects!  I know everyone is feeling the panic!  I am trying my best not to stress out-----

I took a break from some of my to-do list to make a card for the Paper Players Challenge.  The WOW Challenge is White On White!  I love it! Although my first thought is SNOW, I decided it was the perfect challenge to make a baby card.  So many of my friends are awaiting their first Grand child, so I knew this card would be sent to someone special!  It also seems to be the new trend, NOT to find out the sex of the baby, so White On White is a great color scheme.  ENJOY!
