With Deepest Sympathy--#tttc044

April 19, 2018

It's time for a new challenge at the Tic Tac Toe Challenge!

We have a fantastic board for all of you!

We would love for you to take some inspiration from the challenge board above, using three elements in a row of your choice. Whatever row inspires you is what we challenge you to create! Don’t forget to link back to us, and to use our hashtags #tictactoechallenge and #tttc044.

My card is created using the first column:  Stripes, Masculine, Neutral

My card is created on a white card base.  The black and white striped panel is from MFT patterned papers.  The Crumb Cake panel is cut with a rectangle stitched die.  The feather is stamped in Versa Mark and heat embossed with white embossing powder.  The "deepest sympathy" is stamped in black from the SugarPea Designs Heartfelt Sympathy stamp set.  The "Sympathy" die is cut once in black and four times in Crumb Cake using the Sympathy die from SugarPea Designs.  Black sequins were added to complete the card.

Thank you so much for stopping by today, please pop over and see more inspiration from the rest of the Tic Tac Toe design team and I hope you have a chance to play along with us this week!

Happy Birthday-- PP389

April 15, 2018

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players!!

It's the sensational Sandy's week to be our hostess and she has a fantastic challenge for all of us.  It's a Clean and Simple "Magical" theme.  Create a project using unicorns, fairies, gnomes, etc.  Have fun and we can't wait to see your creations!

Unfortunately, I am in Indiana to attend my dear Aunt's funeral and when I went to write my blog, I realized it is a Clean and Simple challenge!!  My card is NOT CAS, so I hope Sandy will forgive me.  I am going to go ahead and share it with all of you!

I created the top layer using distress inks and the smooshing technique on watercolored paper.  I mounted it on black card stock. My card is created on green card stock and is a 5 x 5 square.  The fairies are from Craftin Desert Divas Seasonal Fairies.  I colored them with Copic Markers and added a lot of Wink of Stella for shine.  The shaker was created using the MFT circle pouches and lots of sequins.  The Happy Birthday circle  frame is from MFT.  I added more sequins for fun.  I also created an envelope for my card.

Miss You! Sketch Saturday #509

April 14, 2018

It's time for a new challenge at Sketch Saturday!

We have a great sponsor this week:

Little Miss Muffet Stamps has lots of fantastic stamps, digis and more! Here is their Facebook group and blog.
LMMS has generously offered a $6 GC to the winner of this week's sketch challenge.

My card is created on a white card base.  I found this fabulous bicycle paper in my stash  I mounted it on black card stock.  My strips are Bermuda Bay on black.  The stamp is from Technique Tuesday--Belle on a Bike.  I colored her with colored pencils.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set.  A few sparkling clear sequins are added for shine.

Thank you for stopping by my blog!  Don't forget to visit all the DT blogs for lots of inspiration!  We sure hope you will play along with us!
